Candice Krakuszeski is the NHRMC Employee of Excellence for December 2021.
Candice, as the clinical coordinator in the Employee Health and Clinic, has always led by example, assisting and encouraging her teammates to work together. Her compassion shows when she is with a patient. Patients frequently comment on how caring she is and ask for her specifically during visits.
In December 2020, Candice was reassigned to the Vaccine Clinic, as Clinical Lead, at the 17th Street campus, where she spread her positive impact to our staff and the community.
During a time when our community was scared and clamoring for the vaccine, Candice was part of the team that set up an additional vaccine clinic at The Pointe 14 movie theater to provide the safest, most efficient vaccine administration possible.
She tirelessly ensured that all appropriate safety measures and efficiencies were continually in place from the opening of the Vaccine Clinic in December 2020 to the pediatric clinic that is now vaccinating children ages 5-11.
Her dedication was evident during the State/CDC survey and a visit from Governor Roy Cooper, who celebrated that we have provided more than 100,000 vaccines to community members.
For living the mission, vision and values of Novant Health and always striving to ensure that all patients receive remarkable care, Candice Krakuszeski deserves to be honored as an Employee of Excellence.
