Spiritual and Social Resilience

Woman on Video Call

During this time when physical distancing is being encouraged to help keep our community healthy, it can make many people feel isolated.

This section will provide interactive activities to help you connect with family at home and virtually using technology as well as connect you with someone from our 24/7 spiritual care line who you can share your feelings with.

NHRMC is dedicated to supporting the mind, body, and spirit of our teammates as well as our community. A Faith Health Network was established in 2020 through the Community Engagement department, click here to learn more.

Our NHRMC Spiritual Care team is available to all NHRMC employees to listen to concerns and plan coping steps through a dedicated 24-hour line at (910) 667-KIND or (910) 667-5463.

Video Communication

Many people are finding it easy and convenient to schedule work meetings, workouts and even chat groups using Zoom Videoconferencing.

Creative ways to use video conferencing:

  • Set up times to connect virtually with loved ones
  • Schedule virtual work meetings, conferences and appointments that can be done through video communication
  • Pick a time to do a virtual cooking class with a friend or someone in your household
  • Get a virtual workout buddy and complete an online workout
