Residents are required to complete a project with one of the departmental faculty members, or to initiate an independent project under the guidance of an affiliated department.
Each project is expected to be summarized in a report suitable for publication and is presented at the annual department Resident Research Day. Many residents present their research at national conferences. Some residents chose to participate and complete multiple research projects.
Residents have completed both clinical and basic science projects within MFM, REI, Gyn Onc, Family Planning, Urogyn and benign Gyn.
Residents are supported to present their research at national meetings.
